Door Installation & Replacement

Security, efficiency, and first impressions — done the right way.

Entry and patio door systems installed with precision, transparency, and respect for your home.

Doors are more than an entry point.

They impact

  • Security

  • Energy efficiency

  • Weather protection

  • Daily use and comfort

  • First impressions of your home

But door projects often come with confusion:

  • “Why is there such a big price range?”

  • “Is this just a swap, or more involved?”

  • “What actually affects performance?”

At TrueNorth, we remove the guesswork.

We treat doors as complete systems — not just slabs or frames — and focus on proper installation, sealing, flashing, and long-term performance. Our goal is clarity, predictability, and craftsmanship you can trust.

No pressure. No surprises. Just honest recommendations and clean execution.

Installed with attention to fit, alignment, and hardware performance.

Doors Are Systems, Not Just Slabs

A door’s performance depends far more on how it’s installed than the door itself.

Proper door installation requires attention to framing, sealing, drainage, and alignment — especially in Michigan’s weather conditions. Shortcuts here lead to drafts, water intrusion, sticking doors, and premature failure.

Our installation standards include:

  • Accurate measurements and fit

  • Inspection of framing and rough openings

  • Proper flashing and water management

  • Threshold height and drainage considerations

  • Insulation and air sealing

  • Precise alignment for smooth operation

  • Secure hardware installation

  • Clean interior and exterior trim integration

  • Full cleanup and haul-away

Craftsmanship isn’t optional — it’s the baseline.

Door Pricing (Installed)

We publish honest pricing ranges so homeowners can plan confidently and understand what affects cost before moving forward.

Variables include door material, sidelites or transoms, framing condition, hardware, and interior/exterior trim scope.
